David studied both Law and Science degrees at the University of Auckland from 1996-2000, graduating in 2001. He worked in a variety of roles for Big 4 Chartered Accountancy Practice Deloitte from 1993-2002, starting with basic administration duties and working his way up the chain, setting up companies, doing company minutes, maintaining share registries, company constitutions, doing thousands of GST & income tax returns, and writing tax opinions for some of the largest companies in New Zealand and multi-national conglomerates.  In 2001 David was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand by the Chief Justice.  He then worked for a year at Russell McVeagh, before setting up his own practice which focussed on Establishing of Trusts and legal services for residential property owners.

David is known for his Company and Trust administration and has become a successful property investor skilled in a number of investment strategies, not just buy & hold.  David is a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and holds a current legal practising certicate.  He serves as a Trustee for a number of his clients Trusts, his Family’s Trusts, is a director of a number of companies, and has become is a popular and skilled presenter on property investment.  David started investing in property in 2002, and has over the years has built up a successful property portfolio.  He was elected to the Board of the Auckland Property Investors’ Association (”APIA”) in 2004, and after two years as Secretary from 2005-2007, he was elected to the position of Vice President which he still holds www.apia.org.nz/about-us/board.
